Something about this arrangement just grabs me. My initial thought is that it must be the color pallet - with those dark browns and the unexpected blue field on the left. The stylized patterns in the water section seem to suggest flowing water...moving and swirling. Even the dots of splattered paint show this duality - showing they could be stylistic additions giving the viewer a sense of depth...or they could be the first big plops or rain falling on the river surface. Nice work, CJ.
