Like the previous paragraph, so many things in art are suggestive....even to a greater degree. Textures, patterns, colors, linear movement, values, and everything else that is used to create successful compositions can purge long lost people, places, times, sensations, emotions, beliefs and all other things associated with the human experience. This is the beauty of art. It excercises our higher order thinking skills, allowing us to explore, analyze, interpret, and make judgements concerning visual comprehension. These above all are crucial to the development of children and so often we see schools cutting art programs.

Embrace the gift of the arts and support it every chance you can. A society that denies the growth of an individual's ability to perceive the world in their own way is a dangerous one.

"The viewer completes the piece." -Marcel Duchamp
